Wayne Rooney has been speaking about the Premier League title race after the action that unfolded on matchday 11.
Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table, but only by four points, as Manchester City reduced the gap after the Gunners dropped points.
After Arsenal drew 2-2 with Sunderland, Man City sent out a statement by beating Liverpool 3-0 at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola told his players not to think about Arsenal ahead of the action in Manchester, but after his side’s impressive win, talk is all about whether City can beat Mikel Arteta’s side to the summit.

Wayne Rooney chooses who will win the Premier League title out of Arsenal and Manchester City
Being only 11 games into the season, it’s important not to have outlooks derailed by a single result.
Gary Lineker still thinks Arsenal will win the league despite seeing what Man City did to Liverpool after the Gunners dropped points.
Speaking on The Wayne Rooney Show, Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney shared his view on things heading into the international break.
“I think Arsenal will be a bit nervous,” Rooney said, predicting that Arteta’s side might be concerned about facing City in another title race.
“With City coming up, and they’ll be thinking, ‘Not again’, get the title pinched off them again.”
Despite the performance City showcased in their victory over the reigning champions, Rooney assured that Arsenal are still his favourites to win the Premier League.
“I think that’s where it’ll be, one of them two. I’d still probably edge Arsenal.”
Given that Rooney thinks Arteta could be sacked if he doesn’t deliver the title this season, the Arsenal manager will be relieved to hear that the England icon is still on side.
Arsenal’s advantage after the international break
The title race is heating up, which was to be expected with Guardiola, who has beaten Arteta to two titles in the previous three seasons.
Though City’s gathering form is ominous, Arsenal have a trick up their sleeve to remind their rivals of their intent this term.
Several Arsenal players will return from injury after the international break, giving Arteta a vast boost of ammunition ahead of the run-in to the festive period.

Captain Martin Odegaard is among those missing, with Arsenal’s attack in particular set for a much-needed boost.
The November international break will present time for the injured Gunners to regroup ahead of joining the squad once more, with so much at stake when the domestic action resumes.
