Arsenal are set to travel to Liverpool in search of their first win at Anfield since 2013.
Mikel Arteta’s side will be desperate to bounce back from European heartache and Arsenal’s Champions League qualification for next season is still on the line.
Arne Slot confirmed Connor Bradley will start the match in place of the departing Trent Alexander-Arnold so Gabriel Martinelli will have a new challenge on the left flank.
The atmosphere at Anfield is always talked about as being one of the most intimidating in English football and one former Arsenal star revealed what it was like to make his Premier League debut there.

Ray Parlour revealed the truth about his Arsenal debut at Anfield
Ray Parlour is a popular figure among Arsenal fans and he made his Premier League debut away at Liverpool back in 1992.
Just 18 at the time, Parlour was alongside Arsenal legend David Rocastle in midfield and the likes of Tony Adams and Ian Wright.
Speaking to talkSport, Parlour revealed his true feelings on playing at Anfield and how his career didn’t have the best of starts after conceding an early penalty.
Parlour stated: “As you get to the stairs and players are touching the ‘this is Anfield’ sign, suddenly you hear the crowd and when ‘you’ll never walk alone’ is being sung, you think this is what being a footballer is all about,
“A nailed on penalty. There was no VAR then because it could have been a six-game ban! The late Dave Rocastle was fantastic in midfield and really helped me out, but I was so nervous because I was used to playing in front of 200 people, not 30,000.”
Ray Parlour’s Arsenal career
A product of Arsenal’s academy, Parlour had a glorious career in North London and won the Premier League title on three occasions and the FA Cup four times.
Parlour was also a member of Arsenal’s 1994 European Cup Winners Cup side that defeated Parma 1-0 in the final thanks to Alan Smith’s wonder goal.
| Ray Parlour’s Arsenal career | Appearances | Goals | Assists |

Thankfully, Parlour’s Arsenal career improved from his nightmare start at Anfield and he was extremely underrated as a player.
Arteta’s side can control the ball in their upcoming clash and will need to ensure they keep the surge of the crowd quiet in order to take something from the game.
