Ian Wright and Gary Neville make Arsenal v Leicester prediction

Arsenal are preparing for the challenge of Leicester in the Premier League next up in hopes of continuing their title charge this season.

The Gunners have three wins and two draws from their opening five matches, having already battled through some tough tests.

Following their bruising encounter with Manchester City, Leicester will prove an important game to return to winning ways.

Speaking on this week’s episode of Stick To Football, the pundits were asked to predict the outcome of the matches ahead.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright backed his former side to win 2-0 against the Foxes, while Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher went one further, predicting a 3-0 victory.

Final Leandro Trossard red card given

Leandro Trossard’s red card at Manchester City came littered with controversy over the fashion it was given out to the Arsenal man.

The forward had been booked in the first half before fouling the opposition again and seemingly kicking the ball away.

The Belgian was shown a second yellow card and was given his marching orders, coming as a huge blow to the side in a game they eventually drew 2-2.

Many different opinions have flown around on whether the incident was worthy of a red card or not, but now the answer is revealed.

An independent panel called the Key Match Incidents panel looks over decisions each week to make judgments on decisions made in games.

It is formed of three former Premier League players or coaches, one Premier League official and one PGMOL official, judged decisions made over key match incidents, and Trossard’s red card was looked at.

By the end of the session, four voted that Michael Oliver was correct in the award of the card and one voted against it.

Gary Neville picks out two players Arsenal would miss

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is a huge absence for the side as the star steps up his recovery from an ankle injury.

The playmaker has missed out on ties against Tottenham, Atalanta and Manchester City so far, with Mikel Arteta scraping his team through those encounters.

Odegaard could be a huge miss against teams that need unlocking, which happen to be the big matches ahead of the Gunners.

Gary Neville doesn’t believe that he is the most important aspect to the team though, picking out two stars who may be bigger misses than the captain.

“If you were City, you’ve just said want Odegaard out, but he wouldn’t be the first player I’d take out of Arsenal’s team,” Neville explained on Stick to Football.

“I’d pick Rice or Saliba personally out of the team. I don’t know which one, Rice or Saliba, but I’d take one of them out before I take out Odegaard. I love Odegaard by the way.”
