All eyes will be on Eberechi Eze as the attacking midfielder prepares to make his Arsenal debut against Liverpool.
Arsenal unveiled Eze at the Emirates Stadium ahead of the Gunners’ 5-0 win over Leeds United.
The Englishman wasn’t registered in time to make his first appearance for the club against Leeds, but with a week of training behind him, he could feature against Liverpool.
With Martin Odegaard a doubt for Liverpool, Eze could come in to replace the captain in his favoured number ten role, but Ian Wright thinks something else could be on the cards.

Ian Wright thinks Eberechi Eze will play on the left vs Liverpool
Wright featured in Eze’s unveiling video, following in the same path as the forward by leaving Crystal Palace as an icon to sign for Arsenal.
There is so much excitement about the 27-year-old’s arrival, not just from fans but from the player, too.
Eze has been working tirelessly in training ahead of making his debut at Anfield, with Wright suspecting that the England international could play on the left.
“I think he’d probably be on that left side,” Wright said on the Stick To Football podcast.
“Left side coming in, coming inside, I don’t know, Myles Lewis-Skelly scurrying things down outside, you know what I mean?”
The Arsenal legend went on to predict that Eze will tell Mikel Arteta that he doesn’t care where he plays, with the only thing that matters being that he does play.
“He won’t bother, he might say, listen, I just want to play and stamp myself and then go from there.”
Wright knows that all the boyhood Arsenal fan will care about is being on the pitch and making his debut against Liverpool.

Eze has discussed his position with Mikel Arteta
When speaking to Wright in his first interview after joining Arsenal, Eze confirmed that he has spoken to Arteta about what position he could play in his squad.
Eze doubled down on his desire to just play, not worrying about what his specific position is.
“As long as I’m on the pitch, as long as I’m given the opportunity to play and to express myself in that environment, then it doesn’t matter where I’m playing.
“Of course, he [Arteta] has ideas and things that he wants, but for me, I’m free man, I’m free.”
Whether it’s as an attacking midfielder or playing on the left, Eze is ready and raring to go and make an impact, with Liverpool up first for the awaiting debutant.
