Arsenal handed Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber injury blows
Arsenal have been handed a double injury blow, as a duo of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber missed out on the weekend’s clash with Liverpool.
The pair were absent, with Mikel Arteta revealing they are both injured, with concerns remaining over their availability for the rest of the season.
The Arsenal boss said on the duo: “Him [Declan Rice] and Jurrien [Timber] are not fit – Declan couldn’t even train, so he’s injured unfortunately and couldn’t make the game.”

Real Madrid target David Raya transfer switch
Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has been catching the eye of Real Madrid as they look at a possible long-term option between the sticks.
That’s according to The Sun, which reports that Los Blancos are looking at the Spaniard as a potential replacement for Thibaut Courtois.

A deal for Raya is claimed to be difficult, with three years still remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen is also believed to be on the radar at the Bernabeu, though it’s unclear if he will be able to make the move.

Max Dowman set to join Arsenal on pre-season tour
Arsenal youngster Max Dowman is stepping up his progress in the academy as he looks to make a move into the senior squad.
The 15-year-old has been involved in first-team training this season, despite not being eligible to play until next campaign.
With that in mind, the Daily Mail reports that Dowman is set to join the team on their pre-season tour this summer.
It could be the first time that fans see the young playmaker in action, with some big matches lined up in the months ahead.
