Fabrizio Romano provides Benjamin Sesko update

Benjamin Sesko rejected Arsenal last summer and after trying to sign the RB Leipzig striker once again in the January transfer window, it seems the Gunners are going for one last swoop this summer.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has stated that despite interest in Sesko from a number of top European clubs including Barcelona but Romano believes that Arsenal are the favourites to land him.

Romano stated on his YouTube channel: “Arsenal are still there, Arsenal made contact in January, Arsenal remain interested in the player and Arsenal could be the favourite to land Benjamin Sesko.”

Should the Gunners land Sesko it would prove to be the proven striker signing that many have been calling for given the Slovenian’s prowess in front of goal.

Nico Williams reveals footballing inspiration

Arsenal are interested in signing Nico Williams in the summer and the Spanish winger has been speaking about his footballing inspiration in an interview with L’Equipe.

Williams gave the surprise response that former Arsenal transfer target Wilfried Zaha was indeed someone that inspired the Athletic Bilbao forward.

Williams stated: “Zaha, who I haven’t already named, I loved him when he was at Crystal Palace. He was a player that I loved to watch. I cut my hair like this to look like him.”

Former Gunners manager Unai Emery tried to sign Zaha in 2019 but instead settled for a deal for Nicolas Pepe as Zaha proved out of reach.

Arsene Wenger reveals how Manchester United rivalry began

Ahead of the Manchester United and Arsenal clash, Arsenal Insider revisited when Arsene Wenger explained how the rivalry with the Red Devils began.

The two sides were locked in battle for several major honours during the late 90s and early 2000s and there were some infamous scenes along the way.

Wenger explained: “Slowly they push you of course in the rivalry and I was never short of a sentence. That became more and more acrimonious and then more and more aggressive. Sir Alex [Ferguson] he was a lot bit the boss of England. He was the boss of the bosses.”

It may not get as heated between Arteta and Amorim in the upcoming game however, both sets of fans still regard this one as a huge clash in their season.
