Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on Ben White, Thomas Partey and Real Madrid’s latest La Liga request.
Arsenal dropped more points in the Premier League as they were held to a 1-1 draw with Brentford at the Emirates Stadium.
Thomas Partey opened the scoring after a fine run from Declan Rice but Yoanne Wissa equalised for the Bees with just over 15 minutes remaining.
Mikel Arteta’s side tried but could not find a winner and now attentions turn to their vital Champions League quarter final second leg with Real Madrid.
So with that said, here’s a look at the latest Arsenal news ahead of another busy day.
Mikel Arteta explains Ben White absence from Brentford clash
Ben White was missing from Arsenal’s matchday squad to face Brentford after suffering a knock in training.
Via the club’s official X account, Arteta stated: “Ben White couldn’t be in the squad because he felt something again post-training yesterday, so that limits the solutions we have because Jurrien wasn’t ready to start the game either.
“Other players as well played a lot of minutes and other players deserve to play minutes to help the team.”
It remains to be seen whether the England international defender will be fit in time for the trip to Madrid but the Gunners will certainly be hoping to have as many defensive reinforcements as possible.

Mikel Arteta provides Thomas Partey injury update
After scoring the opening goal, Partey was forced to leave the field after picking up a knock in the game where he played as an emergency right back.
Speaking at his post match press conference, Arteta stated: “We had an idea because we know certain players couldn’t finish the game. We didn’t expect the issue with Thomas and we had to take him out.”
The Gunners boss went on to explain that Partey ‘felt something’ and the Arsenal medical staff were quick to take him off to avoid any further risks to damage.
Arteta will now be sweating on his star midfielder’s fitness ahead of the game at the Bernabeu.

La Liga reject Real Madrid request
Real Madrid believe they are still well and truly in with a shout of reaching the Champions League semi final and completing a remarkable comeback against Arsenal.
The European champions were dealt a blow however, following their request to move their La Liga match against Alaves forward by 24 hours to enable more preparation for the second leg.
The request was rejected by the Spanish football federation and the game goes ahead as schedule on Sunday at 15:15 (GMT).
