Speaking at his pre match press conference ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Man United, Arteta has revealed his greatest moment as Arsenal manager.

The Spaniard is about to take charge of his 200th game at the helm and many would have expected him to pick the 2020 FA Cup triumph however, he sprung a surprise with his response.

Arteta stated: “Probably number one is the day I was sitting here on the first day just fulfilling that dream of one day becoming the manager of this incredible football club.”

He has not looked back since and the club has been totally transformed under Arteta’s guidance, all that is missing is thar first statement trophy success.

Jamie Carragher infuriates Arsenal fans

Jamie Carragher has caused a stir amongst the Arsenal fan base on a number of occasions this season so far and the pundit has angered some Gunners supporters once again with his recent comments.

His comments questioned who was under more pressure in their roles as manager, Arteta or Amorim, with one side second in the league and looking forward to a Champions League quarter final, whilst the other sits in 14th position.

He ultimately concluded that Arteta was of course under less pressure but nevertheless it sparked some angry comments from Arsenal fans on X.

One fan wrote: “What is the point of this comparison? Why do you feel the need to invent pointless debates? You were a bang average defender in your playing days . Did you ever feel under pressure that Liverpool might replace you?”

Joshua Kimmich set to commit future to Bayern Munich

Arsenal have already begun to look at summer recruitment plans and Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich was on their list with his contract running out at the end of the season.

It was a market opportunity that the Gunners were interested in pursuing and last week held talks with the player’s representatives.

However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Kimmich’s new contract in Germany is now in the ‘final stages’ and is expected to be completed.

Arsenal will have to turn their attentions elsewhere as they seek to build a squad capable of competing on all fronts next season.
