Pressure has been building from some sections of the fanbase over the future of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
The Gunners look set for another disappointing finish in the Premier League, with a huge gap to leaders Liverpool now built.
While some have questioned Arteta’s future, Arsenal Insider understands the Arsenal board fully back the manager going forward.

The head coach isn’t worried about his current security at the club, while some sources were “shocked” that it was even a discussion.

Arsenal sporting director latest
Another role under consideration at Arsenal is that of the sporting director, following on from Edu Gaspar’s surprise resignation.
The Gunners have been closely monitoring their options, with the Athletic claiming an appointment is aimed for March.
The report links five names with the job, including interim Jason Ayto along with Dan Ashworth, Andrea Berta, Roberto Olabe and Thiago Scuro.
It remains to be seen who is picked out of those options, or perhaps a left-field name in the frame, but it will be a key decision.

Ian Wright fumes at Arsenal board
Arsenal legend Ian Wright hasn’t held back when it comes to discussions over the current season for his old club.
With the Gunners drifting towards another disappointing campaign, the ex-forward called out the Arsenal board on the Rest is Football podcast.
He said: “I think the board [are at fault] personally. I’m going with the board here. They have not helped this man [Mikel Arteta], he’s coached us as far as he can.”
