Arsenal are back in Champions League action today as they travel to PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.
The Gunners will be aiming to take a lead into the second leg back at the Emirates Stadium, putting them closer to the quarter-final of the competition.
Elsewhere, there has been a huge development behind the scenes at Arsenal that could change the course of the whole club.
So with that said, here’s a look at the biggest news ahead of another busy day.
Andrea Berta targeted as Arsenal sporting director
Arsenal are “very close” to agreeing a deal for Andrea Berta to become the club’s next permanent sporting director, Arsenal Insider understands.
The Italian director recently left Atletico Madrid, making the decision to exit the club in January after a 12-year stay.

While a deal hasn’t been announced or sealed yet, Arsenal Insider understands that it is “very close” to being sealed.
On top of that, it is also understood that Berta rejected a chance to speak to European giants AC Milan over a move.

Thomas Partey contract situation explained
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is nearing the end of his contract at the club, with just a few months remaining on his deal.
It could see him leave in the near future unless the Gunners look to make an offer that can tempt him to stay.
However, according to Charles Watts, that possibility is looking unlikely and an exit is more likely for the summer.
With talks yet to kickstart, it remains to be seen whether that could change once a new director is in place.

Arsenal decide on next striker transfer target
Arsenal are looking at landing Jonathan David in the summer transfer market as a possible free agent, according to Sky Sports in Switzerland.
The Lille striker is claimed to be on the radar for the Gunners, who can offer a pre-contract deal at this stage of his expiring contract.

It’s stated that the club have been waiting to sort a deal for their incoming sporting director, Andrea Berta, first.
Whether they manage to land David as a result remains to be seen, with rivals West Ham looking at a possible deal.
