Catch all the latest Arsenal news, including updates on PSG’s UEFA complaint, Victor Osimhen and Joan Garcia.

Arsenal are enjoying a brief lull before the explosive action of the Champions League semi-final first leg against PSG at the Emirates Stadium kicks in.

Mikel Arteta will be demanding an improved performance from the 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace which saw yet another lead dwindle away in the Premier League.

The Gunners will now be focussed on preparing the right way for PSG and knowing their jobs down to the fines detail before the French champions visit.

With that and plenty more going on at the club, here’s a look at the latest news ahead of another busy day.

PSG complain to UEFA about Arsenal

According to L’Equipe, PSG have complained to UEFA about their ticket allocation for the semi-final first leg in North London.

PSG were given 3000 away tickets for the previous clash back in October but Arsenal are now only prepared to allocate 2500 seats due to ‘security reasons’.

The London Marathon takes place just two days before the game at the Emirates and Arsenal have accepted the local authority’s request of a reduced allocation to the away end.

Enrique’s side are not happy with the explanation and have sent in a complaint to UEFA over the ticketing scenario.

David Ornstein’s update on Victor Osimhen to Arsenal

Arsenal are desperate to land a striker this summer amid their troubles this season but according to David Ornstein that striker won’t be Victor Osimhen.

Speaking on NBC Sports, Ornstein stated: “They’ll also look to strengthen in attack, Players such as Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon, Benjamin Sesko are on the radar.

“I don’t think Alexander Isak is going to be realistic, nor the likes of Victor Osimhen and any other names you’ll hear swirling around.”

It is believed that Osimhen’s salary expectations are a huge stumbling block to any potential move to the Premier League and the Gunners will not put themselves in financial jeopardy.

Manchester United make contact with Joan Garcia

Arteta is a long-standing admirer of Spanish goalkeeper Joan Garcia but it appears that Manchester United have made contact with the Gunners transfer target.

TBR Football’s transfer expert Graeme Bailey told Arsenal Insider that the club still want to move for Garcia but there is increasing competition for his signature.

Bailey stated: “Arsenal still want him, but they know the season he has had, he has progressed and taken a step forward this term – I’m told a number of clubs have made enquiries about him. There is a real chance he ends up elsewhere as a number one but Arsenal have not given up on it yet.”
