However, it looks as though Andrea Berta and Arteta are close to sorting an agreement for two Hale End stars, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Arsenal Insider have been told that Arsenal are confident that both players will put pen to paper on new long-term deals at the Emirates.
The pair of teenagers are happy at the club and are set for significant pay rises.

Kieran McKenna praises Arsenal
Arsenal’s opponents have been full of praise for the Gunners this season, with the likes of Sander Berge and Ola Aina waxing lyrical about Arteta’s team this season.
McKenna, amazed at Arsenal’s standards at Portman Road on Sunday, has joined this hype train, claiming the North Londoners have been Ipswich’s most difficult opponents this season.
“Yeah, a really tough game,” he said.
“One or two different games to a certain extent. Tough eleven v eleven, Arsenal started really well.
“Probably felt at the start of the game that it was maybe the highest standard that we’ve faced this year, to be honest. So, the group was absolutely at full stretch trying to compete.”

Olivier Giroud scores first MLS goal
Olivier Giroud scored over 100 goals for Arsenal between 2012 and 2018, and now he’s enjoying the final stint of his career in the United States with Los Angeles FC.
The number nine joined the MLS side last summer, and he netted his first goal for his new club on Sunday against Portland.
With the Californian outfit 2-0 down, Giroud stepped up to take a free-kick on the edge of the box, deliciously curling the ball over the wall and in off the bar.
Netting his first for LA FC in his tenth appearance for the club, some fans were left surprised that the Frenchman hasn’t enjoyed a more prolific start to life in America, given his pedigree.
