Arsenal are preparing to return to domestic action following their extraordinary win over Real Madrid in Europe.
Brentford are Arsenal’s next opponents in the Premier League and boss Thomas Frank was wowed by Declan Rice during the Champions League quarter final tie.
Mikel Arteta is likely to rotate his side ahead of the second leg at the Bernabeu with Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber among some Gunners stars carrying knocks and niggles.
Martin Odegaard is another player that could be rested for the clash at the Emirates Stadium and he has spoken of his wish to have one star still at the club that was sold by former manager Arsene Wenger.

Martin Odegaard would love Thierry Henry in current Arsenal side
Speaking on Sky Sports Premier League sticker book challenge, Arsenal midfield Odegaard has revealed that he would prefer Thierry Henry to be in the current Gunners side over the likes of Dennis Bergkamp.
The captain was asked to choose one of Henry, Bergkamp, Robert Pires or Patrick Vieira to join him in Arteta’s current squad and the Norwegian went with Henry.
Odegaard on Henry stated: “eah I think so to be fair, what he did and the quality he could do so so much you know he could influence the game in so many ways, dribbling, scoring goals, passing, he was so complete.”
Henry is an Arsenal legend having become the club’s all-time record goal scorer with 228 goals in his 377 appearances for the club across two spells.
Wenger sold Henry for £16m to Barcelona in July 2007 before the French striker returned for a brief loan spell in North London in 2012.
Henry would relish Champions League return leg in the Bernabeu
Henry was part of one of Arsenal’s greatest Champions League wins after he scored a magnificent solo goal the last time the Gunners visited the Bernabeu.
With Arteta’s side facing a tough trip to the Spanish capital in the second leg of their quarter final, Henry’s pace on the break and deadly finishing would be the perfect weapon for the Gunners.
Henry praised Saka for his role in the first leg victory and the Hale End star may have to take on the French star’s role at the Bernabeu by giving Arsenal a threat on the counter attack as they look to defend their lead.
The Gunners are desperate for a striker in the summer transfer window and if only Henry at his prime was available – it could surge Arteta’s men to new heights.
