Arsenal fans got another glimpse of Martin Zubimendi in action before he makes his highly anticipated move to the club this summer.
The midfielder has long been linked with the Gunners, following many impressive displays for both club and country.
It’s no surprise that Arsenal are set to sign Martin Zubimendi for £51 million this summer, finally completing their midfield rebuild.
The Spaniard is set to sit in the deeper midfield position, likely to use his skillset to circulate possession and build attacks from the back.
One main question of Martin Zubimendi from Arsenal fans has often surrounded his ability to get involved in goals, something he answered well in a recent match for Spain.

Arsenal fans react to Martin Zubimendi goal for Spain against Portugal
While Arsenal will be boosted by the presence of Zubimendi, fans have mainly been concerned with how the Gunners can add goals to their game.
No Arsenal player managed double figures for goals this season, underlining the need to find the back of the net on a more consistent basis.
While Zubimendi most likely won’t add ten or more goals to the side on his own, he has still answered concerns from fans who are worried that he won’t add any at all.
In the UEFA Nations League Final against Portugal, the Spaniard started and finished an attack, breaking into the box to score an opener for his nation.
With Zubimendi’s transfer to Arsenal expected in a matter of weeks, fans were loving what the incoming midfielder showed in the match.
Taking to social media, one supporter said: “Mate Martin Zubimendi. So so good. So good.”
“Scoring goals in a final. Zubimendi >>>,” another supporter stated.
The praise continued with: “Zubimendi that’s my 6 right there,” and “ZUBIMENDI starting an attack and finishing off, we’re going to feast in pl.”
Another fan simply said: “Zubimendi box crashing. Arteta has tears in his eyes.”
It shows the excitement that fans have for Zubimendi, who has shown he is capable of taking a chance when presented with one.

Martin Zubimendi’s goalscoring record
Across his career so far, Zubimendi hasn’t been flush with goals for either club or country, with his skillset sitting in deeper midfield.
While that is certainly where he is likely to be more often than not, the 26-year-old has shown some flashes of quality in front of goal.
For both club and country, Zubimendi has managed to score 12 goals – ten for Real Sociedad and two for Spain.
It equates to a couple of goals per season, which could be the difference for the Gunners in some games, though what he offers in build-up will be worth even more.
