Jurrien Timber has made one admission during the international break that Mikel Arteta will appreciate.
The Dutchman is one of 18 Arsenal players on September international duty as Arteta awaits their safe return.
The Arsenal manager will be desperate for his squad to return from duty unscathed, particularly as the Gunners are already experiencing a bit of an injury crisis.
William Saliba was omitted from the France squad due to the injury he sustained against Liverpool, with all eyes on how those involved in the action fare ahead of their return to North London.

Jurrien Timber makes hilarious Mikel Arteta claim
With Saliba out of action for now due to injury and Ben White also unavailable, one position Arteta won’t want to suffer more absences in is defence.
One of the most important elements of Arsenal’s back four is Jurrien Timber, who is on international duty with the Netherlands.
The 24-year-old has been involved in media duties while being away, which saw Timber address his dispute with Cody Gakpo.
The Dutchman was also asked how he handles criticism, and he was prompted to share who he listens to most.
Timber responded by replying with a list of figures he primarily listens to, a list that Arteta ranked very highly in.
“The managers at the club, of course, teammates, family, brothers,” Timber said, via Vandaag Inside.
When it comes to listening to what Arteta has to say, Timber is there, but when it comes to his girlfriend…not so much.
“.. And sometimes my girlfriend at home, who has something to say too,” he joked.
Arteta will certainly appreciate Timber’s admission, with his right-back clearly very eager to hear what his boss has to say.

Timber set to reunite with Jakub Kiwior
With the 2026 World Cup fast approaching, Timber will hope to solidify his place in Ronald Koeman’s star-studded squad.
Qualification for the tournament is ongoing, as on Thursday night, the Netherlands face Poland, followed by Lithuania.
Just days after saying goodbye to Jakub Kiwior, who signed for FC Porto, Timber will be reunited with his Arsenal teammate, who has departed on an initial loan.
With World Cup qualification on the line, the niceties between the pair will quickly be forgotten, in what is set to be an interesting match-up.
