There’s a lot of talk about whether Arsenal can finally win the Premier League title in 2025/26.
It was almost 22 seasons ago that the Arsenal Invincibles won the league, which was, staggeringly, the last time the Gunners won the trophy.
Mikel Arteta’s side have come close in recent years, finishing second for three consecutive seasons, missing out on the title to Manchester City twice and then Liverpool last term.
The aim of the season is to win everything that’s available to the Arsenal squad, with Andrea Berta’s work in the transfer window certainly aiding Arteta’s dreams.

Neil Warnock predicts whether Arsenal will win the Premier League
This time last year, it was thought that if Arsenal signed a striker, they would win the league.
Former sporting director Edu Gaspar didn’t sign a new number nine, and the Gunners missed out on the prize.
This year, Berta has signed a number nine, welcoming Viktor Gyokeres; however, some now believe Arsenal need another top signing to win the league.
That’s the belief of former USA striker Charlie Davies, but someone closer to home thinks otherwise.
Speaking to Alan Brazil on the talkSPORT Daily podcast, former Premier League manager Neil Warnock shared his reservations about Arsenal.
“No. I don’t think so,” Warnock responded to the question of whether it’s Arsenal’s year.
“You’ve said before, Arteta will never win a big one,” Brazil replied.
Warnock then doubled down on his opinion, bringing Arsene Wenger into the debate.
“I did, and I still see that. I remember on your show, when I used to do it with you, how they were slating Arsene Wenger, weren’t they?
“You know, ‘get him out, we want to win things.’ And every year I look at him and I think, I wonder if they’re still saying, get Wenger out. Because he did win things, Wenger.”
Reverting back to Arteta, Warnock admitted he doesn’t ‘see’ the Spaniard collecting any of the big prizes anytime soon.

Premier League predictions are coming far too early
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and part of what makes the Premier League so entertaining is the insight and points of view of those watching on.
It’s natural to want to make predictions over the upcoming season, but it’s equally far too early to rule anyone out.
Three of Arteta’s six new summer signings haven’t even kicked a ball in red and white yet, with Gyokeres, Cristhian Mosquera and Noni Madueke waiting to feature in a match setting.
Until then, and until other sides are fully ready for the competitive action to begin, it’s wise not to act too hastily with predictions, as Liverpool made clear to the footballing world last season.
