Pundit says Arsenal will ‘without a doubt’ win the Premier League if they make one signing now

Arsenal have been knocking on the door of becoming Premier League champions for three years now.

The Gunners have finished second for three consecutive seasons now, and they will be looking to break their hoodoo this season.

Arsenal will be looking to win their first league title in 22 years this season, and they haven’t messed about in the transfer market ahead of this new campaign.

Martin Zubimendi was signed for big money, at the beginning of the summer transfer window, while Noni Madueke has also arrived.

On top of that, Arsenal finally signed a new striker as Viktor Gyokeres has joined Mikel Arteta’s men.

Arsenal are ready to compete next season, but according to former USA striker, Charlie Davies, speaking on CBS, there’s one signing that could guarantee Arsenal the Premier League title.

Arsenal will win the Premier League if they sign Eberechi Eze

Davies spoke about what Arsenal need to do to secure the Premier League title.

According to the pundit, Eberechi Eze is the man who would deliver the league title for Arsenal, claiming that he’s much more dynamic than Gabriel Martinelli down that left side.

Arsenal have indeed been interested in Eze this summer, so a deal could be possible.

“This is one of the most successful summer transfer windows in Arsenal’s history, now, if they get Eze from Crystal Palace I can say they are without a doubt winning a trophy this year,” Davies said.

“If they get Eze I honestly believe they will win the Premier League. What they were missing is a dynamic player down the left side because Martinelli is too predictable.”

Davies says Eze would be an upgrade on Martinelli, and he definitely has a point here.

The Crystal Palace star is a top player, and the numbers show that he’s simply a level above Martinelli.

Of course, whether or not this sort of signing is enough to fire Arsenal to a league title is up for debate.

Liverpool are the reigning champions and after adding Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong to their squad, they should be even stronger next season.

It’s up for debate as to whether or not Arsenal would win the league with Eze, but adding more quality to the squad in this way certainly wouldn’t hurt.
