Arsenal’s pre-season is very much up and running, and many of the Gunners’ players are trying their best to impress Mikel Arteta ahead of the new season.
There have already been plenty of talking points during pre-season, Max Dowman has impressed early on against AC Milan, while Ethan Nwaneri has also caught the eye.
Others have looked sharp during training, Ben White impressed coaches during one pre-season test, while Christian Norgaard made an early impression with a good assist.
Unfortunately, not every new signing is shining in training in the same way, and in Arsenal training this week, another new addition was left slightly red faced.

Kepa Arrizabalaga looks disappointed in Arsenal training
CGTN Sports released a video documenting Arsenal’s open training session in Singapore, and at one point in the video, Kepa didn’t exactly cover himself in glory.
Kepa has just joined Arsenal from Chelsea in a deal worth £5m, and he’ll be hoping to push David Raya all the way for a starting spot.
Kepa saved three penalties against AC Milan, but he made one of the most basic goalkeeping errors possible in this training session as he was easily beat at his near post.
Kepa’s face after conceding this goal told the entire story, the Spaniard was incredibly disappointed with himself as he conceded a soft goal.
How David Raya feels about Kepa’s arrival
Kepa has arrived to rival David Raya in the Arsenal goal, but, by the sounds of it, the Gunners’ number one is up to this challenge.
Indeed, speaking to ESPN, Raya has stated that he has a good relationship with Kepa and believes they make a good pairing.
“We are friends. We have been together in the national team and now we are here so we have that healthy relationship and, let’s say, ‘healthy partnership’ in goal. We know how tough it is to be a goalkeeper. There’s only one goalkeeper playing and we will see what happens. That is the job of the boss and he will decide,” Raya said.
We’ve seen before that Mikel Arteta is willing to make brutal decisions with his goalkeepers, but Raya may not have too much to worry about here, particularly if Kepa keeps conceding soft goals in training.
