Arsenal’s preparations for a busy summer transfer window are already in full swing.
Whilst he will not want it to be a distraction from an important end of season run in, Mikel Arteta will be hoping to finally build an Arsenal squad capable of landing multiple major honours.
Andrea Berta is set to be appointed as Arsenal’s new sporting director and Berta has already been instructed by Arteta to sign Nico Williams.
Arsenal fans have called for Adam Wharton to be signed amid reports that Martin Zubimendi’s deal to the Emirates Stadium may be hijacked by Real Madrid but the Premier League have impacted transfer plans with their latest statement.

Premier League announces changes to summer transfer window
In a Premier League statement, changes have been outlined to the 2025 summer transfer window for all top-flight clubs to coincide with the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup.
The statement reads: “Premier League clubs have today agreed the dates for the Summer 2025 Transfer Window.
“The window will open early, between Sunday 1 June and Tuesday 10 June, due to an exceptional registration period relating to the FIFA Club World Cup. It will then reopen on Monday 16 June and close on Monday 1 September.”
It means that for Arsenal there are now two deadlines for Arteta and Berta to be aware of however, with a gap of only six days between the first deadline and the second window opening, it should not have too much of an impact on the Gunners.
Arsenal striker search most important business of the summer
Ultimately, it will go down as a major factor in Arsenal falling short behind Liverpool this season in the race for the title but a striker is a must in this summer’s window.
Kai Havertz has been phenomenal for the Gunners and was on course to have his best scoring season before his hamstring injury.

Arsenal scouts are watching Randal Kolo Muani whilst Arteta’s dream attacking signing remains Alexander Isak of Newcastle.
A host of names have been linked with the club but Arteta will have his pecking order, now it is to the club to go and deliver the names he wants to bring success to North London.
