Arsenal are hoping that a mid-season break to Dubai will give the players a chance to regain some energy both physically and mentally ahead of the end of season run-in.
Arsenal have been rocked by Gabriel Martinelli’s injury that has left them incredibly short in attacking areas – Mikel Arteta has just four available forward players to choose from.

Martinelli will miss the next three Premier League fixtures and is expected to miss the Champions League last-16 tie where Arsenal are yet to find out their opponents.
Ben White has returned to Arsenal training to give the club some good news and they will now be hoping that Bukayo Saka can also make a timely return sooner rather than later from his own hamstring injury.

Bukayo Saka has created the most big chances in the Premier League despite injury
Despite having been injured since December 21st, England international Saka has still created the most big chances in the Premier League with 19 to his name so far.
The statistic also shows that 46% of the chances he has created have been ‘big chances’ and 24% of them have resulted in the winger producing an assist.
With double figures in assists across all competitions and nine goals to his name, it is safe to say that Arsenal fans cannot wait for the return of the Hale End graduate.
The statistic also proves how far Saka is ahead of the competition in the Premier League and the frightening thing for other clubs is that the star will only improve in the years to come.
Saka and Ben White can reignite Arsenal’s season
If Arsenal are to end their trophy drought this season, the return of the Saka and Ben White partnership on the right flank will play a big part.
Jurrien Timber has been outstanding at right back in White’s absence however, the understanding that the England duo have struck up has been clearly missing from the Gunners’ attacks in recent months.

Arteta will have to tinker with his personnel and formation until the return of the duo, which is expected in early March but if they can survive that tricky period, Saka’s return could ignite their trophy challenge.
