Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has highlighted a key difference that he has noticed between Arsenal and Liverpool recently.

We have a three-horse race in the Premier League for the first time in years. Any one of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City can go on and win it, but we must say, the Gunners have been more dominant than the other two in 2024.

Manchester City are probably still the favourites to win the Premier League title this season, but Pep Guardiola is more than aware of how good Arsenal and Liverpool are.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side are currently on top of the Premier League table and are having a fine season in all competitions. They can be a force, especially at Anfield.

Arsenal are in third, two points behind the Reds, but we are in incredible form. Mikel Arteta‘s men have scored 31 times in the last seven games, which is an unbelievable record.

Guardiola has noticed this, and his latest comments suggest that he thinks Arsenal are so much better than Liverpool as we can kill games much quicker than Klopp’s side do.

The City boss said in his press conference yesterday: “Liverpool have always been Liverpool and the contenders are there.

“Arsenal is already there, last season they were our biggest rivals. Look how they play.

“Liverpool need more than 90 minutes to win the game, sometimes more; Arsenal sometimes need just 25 minutes to win the games. That’s why they are there.”

Arsenal are ruthless

For years, Arsenal fans and even Mikel Arteta have lamented our lack of ruthlessness in front of goal. We were having this discussion right up until the new year.

However, since our little trip to Dubai during the winter break, Arsenal have been the most ruthless team in the Premier League, perhaps even in Europe. We’ve smashed so many records in that period.

31 goals scored and just three conceded in our last seven Premier League games is just a ridiculous record. We can be unstoppable on our day.

Arsenal face Brentford this evening, and a win will take us to the top of the Premier League table. We hope that happens and then Liverpool and Manchester City draw tomorrow so that we can stay above them.
