Piero Hincapie has just made a rather surprising claim about Gabriel Martinelli by naming him as Arsenal’s most technically gifted player.
The North London club have several very talented attackers, such as Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Eberechi Eze and even Rice, but Hincapie surprisingly picked Arsenal’s Brazilian winger.
Martinelli is having a great season, especially in the Champions League, having become the first Arsenal player to ever score in five consecutive games in the competition.

There had been some talk of Martinelli being sold by Arsenal last summer, but Mikel Arteta will be delighted the Gunners kept him, and he’s played a key role in their title bid.
Now, the 24-year-old’s ability has also been recognised by one of his Arsenal teammates, who has just made a big claim about him.

Piero Hincapie was quick to name Gabriel Martinelli as Arsenal’s most technical player, which may come as a surprise to many supporters.
When asked who Arsenal’s most technical player is, Hincapie had no hesitation telling eFootball: “Martinelli!”
Despite being sat alongside Odegaard, the Gunners’ new defender had big praise for Martinelli by picking him over the likes of Arsenal’s captain, Eze and Saka.

It was suggested that Odegaard should also be considered, but the Gunners’ captain firmly insisted: “No, no, it’s not me.”
Hincapie then added to his list by claiming: “Eze also, Martin (Odegaard) also.”
Just recently, Rice also highlighted Martinelli’s speed as a real asset to the team, indicating just how highly rated the Brazilian is in North London.
But right now, Martinelli finds himself down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium, with Leandro Trossard currently the first choice left winger.

Arsenal had looked at Antoine Semenyo, but they are unwilling to sign him next month and were keen to wait until the summer instead.
