Paris Saint-Germain defender Willian Pacho believes Arsenal have made an ‘incredible’ signing this summer.
Andrea Berta spent £250 million in the transfer window, signing eight players to significantly bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Viktor Gyokeres arrived as the marquee addition for £63 million from Sporting CP, while the likes of Noni Madueke, Martin Zubimendi and Eberechi Eze also joined the North London club in major deals.
Despite making this array of glamorous signings, Pacho highlighted a different acquisition made by Arsenal this summer.

Willian Pacho says Piero Hincapie is ‘incredible’
Arsenal completed the signing of Piero Hincapie on deadline day.
The Ecuadorian arrives on an initial loan deal which is expected to become permanent next summer, after the Gunners agreed a purchase option worth a reported £45 million with Bayer Leverkusen.
Hincapie impressed for Ecuador against Paraguay on Thursday night in his first match since becoming an Arsenal player.
The 23-year-old was paired alongside PSG centre-back Pacho, who won the Champions League with the French club last season.
The duo kept a clean sheet against Paraguay, the ninth that Ecuador have kept in their last eleven competitive matches.
Pacho was interviewed by DSports whilst on international duty this week, and was asked to describe Hincapie in a few words.
“Wall, top, incredible,” he responded.
The perception around Hincapie upon his arrival at Arsenal is that he’s a marauding full-back who will be deployed to provide Eze with an overlapping option on the left.
However, Pacho’s use of the word ‘wall’ indicates that he may be much more than this, with his defensive qualities perhaps going under the radar amongst the Gunners faithful.

What role will Piero Hincapie play at Arsenal?
Jakub Kiwior left Arsenal for Porto on deadline day, and Hincapie is understood to be considered the direct replacement for the Pole.
However, Kieran Tierney and Oleksandr Zinchenko also left the Gunners, for Celtic and Nottingham Forest, respectively.
Hincapie will also replace the departing left-backs, and could be used in any of the roles all three of these players filled.

Capable of partnering William Saliba or Cristhian Mosquera as a left-centre-back, the former Leverkusen man can also invert into midfield from full-back like Zinchenko and overlap like Tierney.
He has every string to his bow, which is what makes him such a valuable player for Arteta to have added to his squad, and means he’ll be given minutes regardless of Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly’s form.
