Real Madrid and England superstar Jude Bellingham is one of the biggest names in world football right now.

Having come through the ranks at Birmingham City, before then making his name at Borussia Dortmund, Jude Bellingham has now achieved true superstar status with Real Madrid.

The 21-year-old is one of the most gifted players in the world, but is yet to test himself in the Premier League. At some stage in his career, he may wish to return to his home country to do exactly that.

Were that possibility to arise, Arsenal would surely be keen to secure the 40-cap England international’s services.

Arsenal have been loosely linked with Bellingham before, after all, before his switch to Real Madrid was confirmed.

Jude Bellingham asked to join Arsenal

The Gunners simply could not afford to prise Bellingham away from the Bernabeu now.

However, that has not stopped one fan of the North London club urging the midfielder to make the switch to the Emirates Stadium.

As shared by ESPN, a young Arsenal supporter was recently spotted asking Bellingham to join Mikel Arteta’s squad.

The 2024 Champions League winner laughed off the suggestion, saying “haha, maybe.”

In the extremely unlikely scenario that Bellingham were to demand an immediate move to Arsenal, Arteta surely wouldn’t hesitate to go all out in pursuit of a deal.

Can Arsenal attract superstars?

The truth is, though, that Bellingham belongs in the relatively small bracket of players who are out of reach for Arsenal.

As the iconic former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said in 2007, as quoted by the Daily Mail: “We don’t sign superstars, we make them.”

That was true then and is true now. Although Arsenal paid a club-record £105 million to sign Declan Rice, showing that Arteta is willing to splash the cash, the club still have to rely upon their ability to develop players in order to amass world-class talents.

In the likes of Ethan Nwaneri, the Gunners perhaps have the next Bellingham. The 17-year-old Hale End academy product is certainly a huge talent, and has already shown that he is ready to compete at the highest level. Arsenal fans are excited about Nwaneri, and for good reason.
