Real Madrid target William Saliba transfer
Real Madrid look set to step up their interest in Arsenal defender William Saliba in the coming months, ahead of a potential transfer.
Los Blancos have been previously linked with the Frenchman, but have been caught between picking him and Tottenham’s Cristian Romero.
However, it seems as though the Spanish giants have finally made their decision with talks set to kickstart over a move.

French outlet Le10 Sport reports that Real Madrid have made Saliba their top target and want to reunite him with Kylian Mbappe.
Contact has been made with the defender’s entourage in hopes of securing a switch.

Arsenal and Man United battle for Sam Tickle transfer
Arsenal could be set to battle rivals Manchester United for the signing of goalkeeper Sam Tickle in the transfer market.
The Gunners were interested in the Wigan Athletic star over the summer but were unable to get a deal over the line.

With Aaron Ramsdale’s exit only replaced with a loan for experienced shot-stopper Neto, the focus on the long-term will be for a younger option to play backup.
Tickle could be that, though TeamTalk claims that Man United are showing interest in the goalkeeper for this January.
It could spark a potential transfer battle in the near future, one of which Arsenal will be keen to come out as the winner.

Darren Bent picks best defender out of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes
Plenty of praise has been heaped on Arsenal duo William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes over the past year, with the pair displaying their ability as top defenders.
While both complement each other well, there is plenty of debate to be had over which centre-back is better.
For former Tottenham star Darren Bent, the answer is Gabriel, who he picked for his team of the season so far.

Discussing that decision on talkSPORT, he said: Two centre-halves. Virgil van Dijk, they have conceded two goals all year, and I have gone Gabriel.
“And the reason why I have gone Gabriel over Saliba is because set plays and the goals, set plays and the goals.”
