Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is a name being mentioned when it comes to new Arsenal signings but Fabrizio Romano believes any deal will be tough to do.

Kvaratskhelia signed for PSG in a deal worth £59m and has become a key player for the French side, including helping them to Champions League success last season.

Arsenal are keen on Kvaratskhelia but when it comes to actually doing the deal, Romano believes there’s plenty of obstacles to combat.

If you could only pick one of William Saliba and Gabriel to stay at Arsenal forever, who are YOU picking and why?

Arsenal’s chances of signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Arsenal are known to be keen on adding a winger this summer and it’s seen as a priority for Mikel Arteta.

However, while Kvaratskhelia is a player of interest, getting him out of Paris is a whole other matter.

“Then if you ask me if there is interest, of course there is. For example, for Arsenal, he would probably be the ideal player, the perfect winger. But at this stage, it’s really really complicated,” Romano revealed.

“Then I still expect Arsenal to go for a winger in this transfer window, but it’s complicated for Kvaratskhelia.”

Other wide options Arsenal could consider signing

The Gunners are already being linked with a few players and one of the names who has been mentioned more than once is Newcastle star, Anthony Gordon.

Gordon has shone since moving to the Northeast but there is speculation that both Arsenal and Man United would like to land Gordon if they can.

Another lesser known player of interest is Ivorian winger, Bazoumana Toure. Valued at around the £55m mark, the Gunners see Traore as a player they can develop and improve.

As of now, it remains to be seen just who the club will put at the top of their shopping list.

But as recent history has shown, if Mikel Arteta wants a new player, then the Arsenal board will usually come up trumps.
