Arsenal are preparing for another big clash in the Premier League as they take on relegation candidates Ipswich Town.

The Gunners are fresh from their recent thrashing of Crystal Palace, which they will hope can kickstart an uptick in form.

A run of wins will be all that can help Mikel Arteta put a Premier League title charge back on track in the weeks ahead.

Arsenal do have some big injury concerns to deal with though, with the latest updates coming as a huge blow before they face Ipswich.

Arsenal injury news and updates for Ipswich clash

Bukayo Saka

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has a hamstring tear, with the star picking up an issue against Crystal Palace.

Mikel Arteta confirmed Saka will miss “many weeks” with the injury, coming as a major blow to the team.

It means the winger is unlikely to come back until after the New Year, with a replacement required on the right flank.

The exact return date for Saka is currently unknown, though many have feared the worst over the update.

Raheem Sterling

Raheem Sterling picked up a knee injury ahead of the clash with Crystal Palace, which came as a blow to the side.

Discussing the issue in more depth, Arteta told the press before the match with Ipswich: “He’s gonna be out for weeks.

“He needs further testing tomorrow to understand the extent of his injury. It’s his knee.”

It means that Sterling is likely to be out until the New Year as well, reducing available options in the forward ranks.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has been missing with a minor muscle problem over the past few weeks, which has kept him out of action.

The Ukrainian international was expected to be fit to face off with Crystal Palace but missed out on the squad.

He could make a return against Ipswich though, should he be passed fit to play once again.

Ben White

After completing a procedure on his leg, Ben White is recovering to make a return to the side at some point before the end of the season.

The defender was struggling with an accumulation of issues, which eventually led to the operation to help him in the long-term.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Takehiro Tomiyasu is another long-term injury worry for Arsenal, with the star defender suffering another knee setback.

The Japanese international is now spending time away from the club to help him recover from his persistent injury issues.
