Arsenal have real competition for places this season and they are not finished yet in the transfer market.
With Jakub Kiwior expected to join Porto imminently, it means that Arsenal are pressing ahead with plans to sign Piero Hincapie as his replacement.
Mikel Arteta has incredible defensive depth in his squad and finally it looks as though he has the same with his attacking options.
Paul Merson wants Eberechi Eze to start against Liverpool, however, pundit Scott Minto has revealed that he feels sorry for one Arsenal star after the £68m deal from Crystal Palace was completed.

Scott Minto feels sorry for Noni Madueke after Eberechi Eze signing for Arsenal
Speaking on the latest episode of talkSPORT’s ‘Premier League All Access’ podcast, former Chelsea defender Minto has revealed he feels sorry for Noni Madueke after the arrival of Eze.
Arsenal fans were divided over Madueke following his performance against Leeds with the winger starting on the left flank before finishing his time on the pitch on the right wing.
Minto stated: “Yeah, I think so. I think Eze is ready, desperate to try and make his Arsenal debut already. I think Madueke, you know, I like Madueke and I didn’t want to see him leave Chelsea.
And I kind of felt sorry for him when Eze was signed. Because I’m thinking, well, how many minutes is he going to get? But he’s already played.
You know, this is what it’s all about. This is one of the reasons, major reasons why Arsenal didn’t win the title because of injuries and the replacements coming in weren’t as good. Look, he’s not as good as Saka. But I think it’s a great opportunity for both of them.”
Noni Madueke set to play huge role for Arsenal against Liverpool
In the absence of Bukayo Saka, Madueke will have to take on the responsibility of providing chances for Viktor Gyokeres from the flanks.
His pace and ability to take on defenders will be needed at Anfield, especially with Liverpool’s high press and vulnerability at the back during the opening weeks of the season.

There are calls for Madueke to start on the right in order for Arteta to utilise the pace of Gabriel Martinelli on the left flank.
Wherever Madueke starts the game, he will be hoping to make another positive impression for his new club and win over the Gunners’ supporters.
Scoring during a win over your title rivals would be the perfect way to do just that for the England international.
