Arsenal will be pleased with their transfer business so far this summer but are still looking to add one or two more players to their squad.
Andrea Berta has moved swiftly to complete deals for six new signings already including the impressive Martin Zubimendi and Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.
Arsenal’s reported £200m budget has now been used and the club are relying on player sales to help fund any further moves.
The display against Tottenham Hotspur proved that Mikel Arteta’s side could do with more creativity but former Premier League boss Sean Dyche thinks the Gunners should be happy with one particular aspect of their business so far.

Sean Dyche believes Viktor Gyokeres could be a ‘steal’ for Arsenal this summer compared to Alexander Isak
Liverpool have had a bid rejected for Gunners target Alexander Isak and it is reported that Newcastle want near to £150m for the striker.
Arsenal signed Viktor Gyokeres for a fee believed to be in the region of £65m and Dyche believes that could look a ‘steal’ if the 27-year-old hits the ground running in North London.
Dyche stated: “I was looking Gyokeres, I can never say his name but anyway I’m sure everyone knows who I mean, I think he’s a very, very good player,
“If that’s like 65ish [million] let’s say 65, 70 ish then that could suddenly and it sounds mad about modern football but that could look like a steal all of a sudden,
“We don’t know yet because these players are on paper and it’s pre-season but if he gets off and running you could suddenly be thinking you’ve got a steal at £65m, I mean can you imagine ten years ago us talking about £65m as a steal?”
Gyokeres made his Gunners debut in the 1-0 defeat to Spurs in Hong Kong but will be hoping for further opportunities to shine in the upcoming friendly clashes with Villarreal and Athletic Bilbao at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal fans will be worried if Liverpool sign Alexander Isak
Whilst the Gunners have been proactive in the market, supporters will be keeping an eye on the developments involving Isak’s proposed transfer to Liverpool.
Isak is Arteta’s dream signing and has been outstanding for Newcastle since his arrival to the Premier League back in 2022.
The difference between Liverpool and Arsenal last season was the firepower in attack and having already added Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike to the likes of Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, the Reds are looking even stronger.
It makes it even more imperative for Berta to find solutions for Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira in order to get one or two more attacking talents through the door.
