Arsenal have a phenomenal academy.
Hale End has been producing one outstanding young player after another in recent years, and that process is showing no signs of stopping.
Bukayo Saka came through the ranks at Arsenal’s academy and has turned out to be a £100-plus million player. Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly are on a similar path too.
Now, there is another one.
Simon Jordan says Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman is just as talented as Lamine Yamal
Max Dowman made his first senior appearance for Arsenal against AC Milan in Singapore.
The 15-year-old became a household name among Gunners fans months ago, despite not playing a single game for Mikel Arteta’s side.
However, after seeing him when he came on against Milan, everyone understood what the hype was all about.
Dowman impressed everybody with his cameo on the right wing at the Singapore National Stadium on Wednesday.

Arsenal fans have been raving about him, and now, former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has compared him to Barcelona superstar, Lamine Yamal.
He said on talkSPORT: “This is a very talented young man who has the potential to be as good as anything out there.
“I hate to throw these superlatives around because it makes unnecessary headlines, but if he continues on his journey and continues to be focused and develop, he’s in the same talent bracket as Lamine Yamal. That’s the level he’s at.
“This kid is a special, special talent. This is a special talent who takes on players, beats them and does it for fun, and then produces end product. A very, very gifted player!”
Max Dowman has the opportunity to become an even bigger fan favourite at Arsenal
Arsenal fans absolutely love Dowman and are really excited to see how he will develop.
It’s not often that a player receives this much love even before he has made his competitive debut, but that’s how big a talent Dowman is.
The 15-year-old made his unofficial debut against Milan, and he is expected to get some minutes against Newcastle United as well.
It will be interesting to see how he will get on this Sunday, but Dowman’s chance to become an absolute superstar will come in Hong Kong next week.
Arsenal take on Tottenham Hotspur next Thursday, and if Dowman can score a goal against the enemy, he will become an even bigger fan favourite than he already is.
