Arsenal are back in business after a lengthy summer break, and it’s fair to say that a few of the Gunners’ players have been busy this summer.
Some, such as Martin Zubimendi, have been making career-changing transfer moves, while, others, such as Kai Havertz, have been spending plenty of time in the gym.
Indeed, Kai Havertz has bulked up over the summer, while Albert Sambi Lokonga is looking noticeably bigger too.
Lokonga and Havertz aren’t the only two players who have changed physically either.
Andrew Mangan is over in Singapore covering Arsenal for his blog and podcast, and during the pre-season tour he’s noticed a change in Ethan Nwaneri.
Indeed, according to Mangan, Nwaneri looks like he’s actually grown an inch or two over the summer.

Ethan Nwaneri looks taller
Mangan shared what he’s noticed about Nwaneri in recent times.
The reporter says that Nwaneri looks an inch or two taller after returning to pre-season, and at the age of just 18, it is very possible that the teenager is still growing.
“He was certainly the one that we were talking about most as that first half went on. First, I think we all noted that there was a little bit of a physical change with him, which is entirely normal. He’s only just gone 18, really,” Mangan said.
“So, you’re still growing and still filling out, but he looks like he’s added an inch or two to his height, and that makes a little bit of a difference. And certainly, I’m not going to say he’s bulked up, but I just think he is matured a bit physically, and you could see that last night.”
How tall is Ethan Nwaneri?
Nwaneri may well have grown a bit this summer, and it will be interesting to see whether the official listings around his height change now.
At the moment, Nwaneri is listed as being 5 ft 9, but he may now be closer to the 6ft mark.
Nwaneri’s growth could be seen after England won the U21 Euros this summer as he celebrated alongside Omari Hutchinson.

Nwaneri is noticeably taller than Hutchinson, who is also listed as being 5 ft 9, so it’s clear that he has grown a fair bit in recent times.
The Arsenal starlet is becoming more and more physical, and that can only bode well for him on the pitch too.
Nwaneri has been called a ‘special’ player, via Sky Sports, and he could get even better now.
