Stan Kroenke has been looking to take Arsenal to the next level since taking full ownership of the club, putting them back towards the very top of the world.

Once viewed as a guiding light in the Premier League, Europe and the whole world, there have been some recent times when the Gunners fell back under the radar.

Modern football caught up, with teams finding new and creative ways to propel themselves to the top with an advantage.

For Arsenal, many years were stuck in limbo as Arsene Wenger waved goodbye to the Emirates Stadium, and some turbulent years followed.

However, under the guidance of the current Arsenal owners and a plan from Mikel Arteta, the Gunners are back on track.

There is an expectation for them to win trophies again, be it the Premier League or the Champions League, with on-pitch success matched with off-pitch success.

The latter of those has been displayed clearly in the latest reports on the club’s true value.

How much is Arsenal Football Club worth?

Stan Kroenke bought initial shares in Arsenal back in 2007, along with Alisher Usmanov, as the pair took significant control of the club.

The Kroenkes eventually bought out Usmanov’s share in 2018, paying £550 million for the remaining shares and becoming the sole shareholder in the process.

That return on initial investment already appears to be an absolute steal, as the latest Forbes report looking into club value reveals.

The report states that Arsenal are now worth $3.4 billion (roughly £2.5 billion), which is a 31% increase on the previous year, which was around £594 million less.

It’s a huge jump up, which has seen Arsenal become the eighth most valuable football club in the world on their model, leapfrogging rivals Tottenham ($3.3 billion) and Chelsea ($3.25 billion) in the process.

That puts the Gunners among the top ten most valuable clubs in world football.

Top ten most valuable football clubs in the world

With the Forbes report now revealing the most valuable clubs in the world, Arsenal will be doing all in their power to ensure they can keep climbing the rankings.

With that wealth often comes success, something the fans will want to see transpire on the pitch at the same time.

They have some giant clubs to overcome in that task, however, with lots of room left to grow.

  1. Real Madrid – $6.75 billion
  2. Manchester United – $6.6 billion
  3. Barcelona – $5.65 billion
  4. Liverpool – $5.4 billion
  5. Manchester City – $5.3 billion
  6. Bayern Munich – $5.1 billion
  7. PSG – $4.6 billion
  8. Arsenal – $3.4 billion
  9. Tottenham – $3.3 billion
  10. Chelsea – $3.25 billion

With such a big gap to PSG in seventh, it’s on the Arsenal hierarchy to keep pushing the club towards the top in everything they do.

That includes projects, such as an Emirates Stadium expansion, which is currently under consideration, offering a chance to build even further.
