Arsenal’s transfer activity is still under the spotlight this summer despite recruiting six new signings already.
Arsenal fans are angered by Eberechi Eze links to Spurs and are adamant that Andrea Berta must do everything to prevent their North London rivals beating them to the punch for the England international.
Eze’s ‘dream’ is to join Arsenal but Tottenham are making a concrete move to agree a fee with Crystal Palace- something that the Gunners cannot do unless they complete a number of player sales.
Benjamin Sesko is another transfer target that the Gunners missed out on this summer for him to join Manchester United, but Theo Walcott has claimed United have another player Arsenal should have signed years ago.

Theo Walcott says Arsenal should have signed Bryan Mbeumo ‘years ago’
Speaking on the latest episode of the ‘It’s Called Soccer’ podcast, Walcott has revealed that Arsenal should have signed Manchester United winger Bryan Mbeumo.
Walcott stated: “Mbeumo. Arsenal should have got him many years ago and that was one player I just thought take the load off Saka take it off him so I’m a big fan of his big fan.”
United eventually signed the Cameroon international for a fee of £65m this summer but after scoring 20 goals last season and producing eight assists, it is no wonder that Mbeumo commanded such a significant fee.
Thomas Frank hailed Mbeumo as ‘incredible’ whilst managing him at Brentford last season and the Gunners did have the winger on their radar before deciding to sign Noni Madueke.
Now Mbeumo is set to make his competitive debut against Arsenal in the Premier League and he will fancy his chances of making an instant impact.
Arsenal have the tools to stop Mbeumo in the Premier League season opener
Whilst Mbeumo is an excellent player and will cause Arsenal one or two problems, Mikel Arteta will be confident that he has the defensive options to stop the winger.
Myles Lewis-Skelly is expected to start at left back for the Gunners and will be confident in his ability to defend one v one.
Mbeumo likes to drive at his full back before cutting in from the right hand side and getting a shot away with his favoured left foot.
Gabriel Magalhaes will be more than aware of this and will help out his teammate if needed by moving across and blocking any path Mbeumo has towards the goal.
