Some believe Bukayo Saka is still underrated in the Premier League, and after the latest news, Theo Walcott certainly thinks so.
After watching Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool last season, journalist Julien Laurens concluded that Saka is very underrated in England.
It’s not the first time that the narrative of Saka being underrated has been spoken about, and it certainly won’t be the last.
While football fans wait for the EA FC 26 to be released, players’ official ratings have been announced, and Walcott isn’t happy about Saka’s.

Theo Walcott reacts to Bukayo Saka’s EA FC 26 rating
With a CIES market value of £88m and 266 appearances for Arsenal under his belt, some may wonder how Saka could ever be regarded as underrated.
That being said, the winger’s rating on EA FC 26 has caused a bit of an outrage, with Walcott left stunned.
Featuring in a TikTok for BBC Sport, the Arsenal icon was asked to name the top seven players in EA FC 26.
“Saka will be in there,” Walcott said, only to be told that his assumption was wrong.
The pundit then looked shocked, with the clip coming back to him asking, “So definitely not Saka?”
Still stunned, Walcott asked, “Is he eighth? I can’t believe that.”
Showing his loyalty to Arsenal, Walcott tested his luck by nominating Martin Odegaard, only to be told that was wrong, too.
“Who’s doing these cards?” he asked, clearly having a strong opinion on the official ratings of the game.
Who is the highest-rated Arsenal player in EA FC 26?
Though Walcott wasn’t happy with Saka’s rating, the winger only narrowly fell outside of the top seven, securing an EA FC 26 rating of 88.
Saka, along with Gabriel Magalhaes, is the highest-rated Arsenal player in the game.
| Player | Rating |
| Bukayo Saka | 88 |
| Gabriel Magalhaes | 88 |
| William Saliba | 87 |
| Declan Rice | 87 |
| David Raya | 87 |
| Martin Odegaard | 87 |
| Viktor Gyokeres | 87 |
Beneath the centre-back and the Arsenal academy product came five players with 87 ratings.
Declan Rice, William Saliba, Martin Odegaard, David Raya, and new signing Viktor Gyokeres earned 87 ratings.
No Arsenal player was able to make the top seven in the Premier League, with the highest-rated player in the league, unsurprisingly, being Mohamed Salah.
