Unfortunately for Mikel Arteta, Saka underwent hamstring surgery in December, and has subsequently missed a large portion of the 2024/25 season.

This has prevented him from adding to his glorious goal catalogue, which currently contains 67 strikes in an Arsenal shirt.

10 – vs Nottingham Forest (2024/25)

Collecting the ball inside the box from an intricate Martin Odegaard pass, Saka tip toed around Nottingham Forest’s defenders, before digging a sensational effort out from under his feet.

The ball nestled beyond Matz Sels in the Forest goal, opening the scoring in a tight game.

9 – vs Norwich City (2021/22)

Netting a similar strike early on in this game against Norwich back in December 2021, Saka bagged a brace by producing the first of his trademark sweeping finishes into the far corner from distance against the Canaries.

Dancing inside after receiving the ball from Alexandre Lacazette, the starboy released a powerful effort that whistled Angus Gunn.

8 – vs Wolves (2022/23)

Perhaps not one of Saka’s most memorable goals, given it was part of a dead rubber 5-0 win on the final day of the season, but wonderful nevertheless.

Receiving a snappy pass from Leandro Trossard, Arsenal’s talisman chopped inside and ruthlessly curled a powerful shot beyond Jose Sa.

7 – vs Aston Villa (2022/23)

Having been comfortably beaten by Manchester City prior to Arsenal’s dramatic 4-2 win at Villa Park, the Gunners were under the cosh in this game in March 2023.

With the clash poised at 1-0 to the home side, Saka produced a moment of magic to draw Arteta’s team back into the encounter.

Snatching on a loose ball, Saka fired a first-time half-volley into the roof of the net, leaving Emi Martinez hopeless.

6 – vs Eintracht Frankfurt (2019/20)

His first goal in professional football and his first for Arsenal, Saka announced himself on the European stage with a sensational strike from distance against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Picking the ball up on the edge of the box, the wide forward beautifully picked his spot, caressing it into the corner.

A star was born.

5 – vs Liverpool (2024/25)

In a huge game earlier this season, Saka broke the deadlock with an outstanding goal against league leaders Liverpool.

Played in over the top by Ben White, he took the ball down majestically, cut inside and nutmegged Andy Robertson, and roofed the ball into the net.

4 – vs Tottenham (2023/24)

One of a number of accurate strikes against Tottenham, Saka scored his best North London Derby goal in May 2024.

Kai Havertz played a pin-point pass over the top perfectly into Saka’s stride, before he took an immaculate first touch, cut inside and smoothly bent the ball past Vicario.

Cupping his ear to the Spurs fans, this was an iconic Saka moment.

3 – vs Bayern Munich (2023/24)

In Arsenal’s first Champions League quarter-final for over 14 years, it was bedlam inside the Emirates after Saka gave the Gunners an early lead.

Letting White’s pass run across his body inside the Bayern Munich box, the England international unleashed an emphatic curler beyond Manuel Neuer.

An exceptionally well-placed effort, this strike has probably gone under the radar in regards to its quality.

2 – vs Manchester United (2022/23)

Possibly Saka’s most famous goal, the winger gave Arsenal the lead against Manchester United in January 2023 in sublime fashion.

Toying with Christian Eriksen on the edge of United’s penalty area, Saka drove inside and produced yet another of his trademark low far corner finishes.

This was the most spectacular and dramatic of them all.

1 – vs Nottingham Forest (2023/24)

About as postage stamp as a goal can get, Saka delivered one of the most aesthetically pleasing top corner goals you’ll ever see on the opening day of the 2023/24 season against Forest.

As is a theme with Saka wonder goals, he received the ball out wide, came inside and perfectly placed the ball in the far corner.

What sets this one apart is that it was in the top corner rather than his usual bottom corner preference.

An utterly incredible effort from an utterly incredible player.
