After securing a deal for Eberechi Eze, Andrea Berta’s focus at Arsenal will be on selling players in the remaining two weeks of the transfer window.
The Gunners have been busy conducting incoming business thus far this summer, with Eze set to become the seventh addition under the new sporting director.
Viktor Gyokeres was signed from Sporting CP for £63 million, while the likes of Noni Madueke and Martin Zubimendi have also been acquired for in excess of £50 million.
The North London outfit will have spent around £250 million in total once the deal for Eze materialises and will now need to recoup some of this money by facilitating some departures.

Theo Walcott says Arsenal should sell Oleksandr Zinchenko this summer
Arsenal don’t have many saleable assets in their squad, although one man they could garner a reasonable fee for is Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Fulham have expressed interest in Zinchenko, while the left-back has also been linked with Borussia Dortmund and Fenerbahce this summer.
The Gunners would undoubtedly rather shift him to the Cottagers, who are more likely to be able to stump up a significant fee than potential suitors from the continent.
Arsenal bought Zinchenko from Manchester City for £30 million in 2022, and while they won’t receive anything close to this, a fee in the region of £15 million wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect from a Premier League club.
In a short TikTok video for Sky Sports News, Theo Walcott urged Arsenal to sell the Ukrainian before the transfer window closes at the beginning of September.
“Zinchenko, I love his experience but I feel like he’ll want to move on so he should go,” Walcott said.
A somewhat brutal call from the former Gunners winger, but entirely justified based on Zinchenko’s current standing in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
The 28-year-old has fallen in the pecking order under the Spaniard and is now comfortably behind the likes of Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Theo Walcott thinks Arsenal should keep Jakub Kiwior this summer
Another who Arsenal could realistically move on for some money this summer is Jakub Kiwior.
Kiwior is attracting interest from a number of Italian clubs, and the Gunners could demand a fee in excess of £25 million for him.
However, Walcott doesn’t believe Arsenal should look to shift the Pole this summer.
“[Kiwior should] stay. We need a bit of support in that position,” Walcott said.
While the money may be too hard to turn down if a lucrative offer comes in, the former England international may have a point about a lack of depth on the left-hand side of Arsenal’s defence.
If Kiwior and Zinchenko both go, the Gunners are relying on Gabriel Magalhaes, Calafiori and Lewis-Skelly staying fit.
With Calafiori’s injury track record, this is certainly a risk.
