Arsenal’s focus in the transfer window is now on shifting players out the door, and they may now be close to completing their first major sale of the summer.
The Gunners have been extremely busy in the market thus far, acquiring six players to bolster Mikel Arteta’s ranks.
Viktor Gyokeres has signed from Sporting CP for £63 million as the North Londoners’ marquee summer addition, while the likes of Martin Zubimendi and Noni Madueke have also been added for significant fees.
Arsenal reportedly still want to sign a left winger, with Real Madrid’s Rodrygo the player most heavily linked with a switch to N5.
However, such an addition would require some sales to be made first, with the likes of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Reiss Nelson and Jakub Kiwior all potentially moving on.

Jakub Kiwior is wanted by AC Milan and Porto
Jakub Kiwior was left out of Arsenal’s squad for their trip to Old Trafford on Sunday.
Cristhian Mosquera signed from Valencia in July, and the Spaniard has seemingly usurped the Pole in Arteta’s pecking order already.
Arsenal Insider revealed earlier this month that the ‘exceptional’ Kiwior isn’t happy with his role at Arsenal and is open to a move away if a potential suitor shows serious interest.
Serious interest has now surfaced, with the Standard reporting that both AC Milan and Porto are targeting the left-footed centre-back.
Arteta is said to be happy to hold on to Kiwior, although the Gunners could easily be tempted to cash in if they receive a substantial offer.
Arsenal signed Kiwior back in January 2023 for around £20 million from Spezia, and he’s struggled to garner regular minutes throughout his spell in N5.
Definitely behind Gabriel Magalhaes in the pecking order, the 25-year-old has only received consistent game time when the Brazilian has been injured or at left-back, when other options have been absent.
Kiwior has started just 26 Premier League games since his arrival in England 36 months ago.

Jakub Kiwior has surely played his final game for Arsenal
After not being named in the 20-man squad for the Manchester United game, Kiwior should be able to read the room regarding his status in Arteta’s squad.
The Spanish manager views him as the fourth-choice centre-back, and this should prompt him to push for a move to either Milan or Porto in the next two weeks.
Too good to be sat on the bench on a weekly basis, Kiwior needs to move somewhere he’ll be valued more highly and can play regular minutes.
| Jakub Kiwior’s Premier League Statistics 2024/25 | |
| Appearances | 17 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Assists | 0 |
| Pass Accuracy | 91.4% |
| Progressive Passes per 90 | 3.84 |
| Tackles per 90 | 1.76 |
| Interceptions per 90 | 0.48 |
| Aerial Duels Won per 90 | 0.88 |
Otherwise, he risks spending another year on the periphery of Arsenal’s squad, and could then no longer be in demand by top European clubs in 12 months’ time.
With the player unlikely to make the bench in each of Arsenal’s next two games before the window slams shut, it’s very plausible that he’s played his final game in a red and white shirt.
