Former Arsenal winger Theo Walcott has now shared one piece of advice with the Hale End talents looking to break through.
A number of exciting Arsenal youngsters are currently with Mikel Arteta’s squad on their pre-season tour of the US.
The Gunners have so far taken on Manchester United and Bournemouth on the other side of the Atlantic, with the likes of Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Ayden Heaven, amongst others, all getting game time.
The Hale End academy prospects with Arteta’s side will be hoping to impress the Spanish coach, and will also be gaining valuable experience from playing against first team opponents.
When it comes to this upcoming crop of Arsenal youngsters, Nwaneri is perhaps the most promising pick of the bunch. The 17-year-old midfielder has already been afforded two Premier League runouts by Arteta, and will be hoping for even greater involvement over the course of the upcoming campaign.
There is a plan to give Nwaneri more game time at Arsenal going forward, and with Emile Smith Rowe now set to leave the club a pathway to more first team action has certainly opened up for the teenager.
This season could prove to be a breakout year for Nwaneri, but he is not the only youngster looking to make a name for himself with the North London club.

Theo Walcott broke into the Arsenal first team at a young age himself, and went on to make almost 400 appearances for the Gunners.
The 35-year-old, speaking to HaytersTV on YouTube, has now offered a piece of advice to the next generation of players coming through at the Emirates Stadium.
He said: “I wouldn’t be afraid to ask questions, and that’s one thing I would encourage in players particularly. Young, old, always try and learn from people… That’s something that some young players may not want to do that, but don’t be afraid to ask questions.”

Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly, and Heaven have been joined by fellow Hale End prospects Tommy Setford, Lucas Nygaard, Alexei Rojas, Josh Nichols, Omar Rekik, Michal Rosiak, Salah–Eddine Oulad M’Hand, Jimi Gower, and Charles Sagoe Jr on this tour.
Arteta is trying to integrate these youngsters at Arsenal, and is pushing them to bond with their senior teammates.
One method the manager has employed to achieve this is consistently changing the seating arrangements at meal times, forcing players to all interact with one another.
