Troy Deeney has now taken aim at two Premier League stars, including one struggling Arsenal player.
Arsenal were toothless in attack as they slumped to a 0-0 draw against Everton last time out in the Premier League.
Kai Havertz started up front for the Gunners in that match, and Mikel Arteta added Gabriel Jesus to the fray in the second half, but neither forward could provide a breakthrough against the Toffees.
There would’t have been much optimism that Jesus might score when he was introduced to the game, as the Brazilian has netted just once for the North London club, across all competitions, since January.

Troy Deeney slams Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus
As far as former Watford target man Troy Deeney is concerned, Jesus can no longer deliver at the highest level.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he slammed the former Manchester City star.
He said: “Gabi’s been stinky, he’s been stinky for a little while. He’s a good footballer that doesn’t like scoring goals.”
Referring to when Jesus admitted the goalscoring is his weak point last season, he added: “Personally, when you start telling people that, it’s time to call it a day. I’m not sure why he thought that was clever.”
There is certainly an argument that Arsenal now need to give up on Jesus. However, finding a buyer for the 27-year-old could prove tricky, given his form and fitness record.
Marcus Rashford dubbed a flop amid Arsenal transfer interest
Arteta certainly needs to add fresh blood to his attacking ranks, and Arsenal have been linked with a move for Marcus Rashford.
The Manchester United star has dazzled in the Premier League before, and certainly has talent, but has struggled to consistently impress for some time now.
Deeney even deemed the England international the worst performer in the Premier League so far this season.
He said: “Who’s been a flop for me? It sounds like I’m piling on and I don’t mean to, but you probably have to say Marcus.
“Marcus has probably been the biggest disappointment this year. Flop’s a hard word, but I mean disappointment in terms of expectation and what we think he can deliver.
“We probably have to say Marcus over the course of January until now.”
A fresh start in a new environment may be exactly what Rashford needs to get back to his best, but bringing him to the Emirates Stadium at this point would certainly represent a risk that could easily backfire on Arteta.
