Arsenal are on the right path to achieve all their ambitions.
The Gunners have been building their squad year on year under Mikel Arteta, and they have come extremely close to winning major trophies in recent seasons.
The Premier League and the Champions League have eluded them, but everything they are doing at the club is pushing them in the right direction.
Arsenal pulled off another incredible move recently, and Wayne Rooney is impressed.
Wayne Rooney reacts to William Saliba signing a new Arsenal contract
William Saliba signed a new contract at Arsenal, extending his stay at the club until 2030.
The Frenchman is arguably the best centre-back in the world right now, and there was a lot of speculation about his future.
Real Madrid were really keen to sign Saliba and were plotting a big move.
However, Andrea Berta continued his great work at Arsenal by convincing the defender to commit his future to the Gunners.

Speaking about Saliba signing a new contract, Rooney said on his podcast: “Listen, Saliba is a fantastic player and I’m sure for his teammates, for the fans, for Arteta, to get a signature and get him to sign a new contract, I think it is huge.
“That helps with, you know, maybe other players following suit and players obviously coming in January and next summer when you know you’ve got stability and your better players are signing new deals, then that certainly helps everyone out.
“So yeah, I think for Arsenal it’s a massive signing.”
Andrea Berta is working on two more contract extensions
Berta has changed the lives of Arsenal fans since he replaced Edu Gaspar at the Emirates.
The Italian signed eight new players in what was an unprecedented summer transfer window, and adding to that, he has already extended some major contracts as well.
Saliba was the latest, but Berta is now closing in on tying Bukayo Saka down to a new contract as well.
Then, as Arsenal Insider exclusively revealed, Arsenal want to extend Jurrien Timber’s contract, and talks are underway with his camp.
The expectation is that both Saka and Timber will put pen to paper on new deals, and that is excellent news for the Gunners going forward.
