Why Marcus Rashford isn’t a transfer target for Arsenal

Arsenal have previously been linked with a transfer for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, with his future at the club seeming uncertain.

The England international has hinted at a possible exit from his boyhood club, putting several teams on red alert.

While the Gunners have been claimed as a possible destination, it seems unlikely he will make the switch to north London.

The reason why has been explained by the Daily Mail, with a report that claims the potential cost of any deal is likely to put them off.

That is despite previously holding interest in the 27-year-old in the summer, with that since fading.

Marquinhos set for another Arsenal transfer exit

Arsenal winger Marquinhos is facing an uncertain future at Arsenal as his loan spell at Fluminense nears an end.

The Brazilian looks unlikely to stay at his current club, following on from a difficult few loan spells elsewhere.

With those struggles, there are still clubs showing interest in a possible deal once he returns to Arsenal in January.

Bukayo Saka hits back at Arsenal critics

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has hit out at critics of the side in recent weeks, following a difficult run of form in the Premier League.

The Gunners haven’t been at their free-flowing best, with a few poor performances keeping them from being in the mix for the title at this stage.

In a conversation with BBC Sport, Saka was asked about the noise from pundits and ex-players in the game.

He responded: “Not so important. I feel like I know what I want to achieve in the game and people are always going to talk regardless whether I do something or whether I don’t do it.

“Even if we win, people will still talk. So my mentality is just ‘do your thing and live your life’ because people are going to talk regardless.”
