Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Friday as they welcome relegation battlers Ipswich Town to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have the chance to move up to second in the league, following dropped points by rivals Chelsea late on Boxing Day.

That opportunity would show an improvement from the side, following a few mixed results for Mikel Arteta as of late.

It will be a challenge for Arsenal though, not just because of the quality Ipswich can show, but also down to injuries.

So with that said, here’s a look at the latest injury news ahead of the huge Premier League tie.

Arsenal injury latest vs Ipswich

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Oleksandr Zinchenko is back in Arsenal training after the star was missing through a small muscular issue he suffered.

The defender was expected to return against Crystal Palace, but remained absent from the squad that beat the Eagles.

With Zinchenko back at London Colney, he could feature in the team to take on Ipswich next time out.

Raheem Sterling

After suffering a knee problem, Raheem Sterling is set to miss a few weeks through injury as the full extent of his issue is explored.

The winger picked up the knee concern in training last week and is set for further scans to see how long it is until he can return.

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka has a torn hamstring after the star was seen clutching his right leg during the match against Crystal Palace.

The winger was spotted on crutches after the match, hobbling out of Selhurst Park and putting doubt on his availability.

Saka is expected to be out for at least two months as he recovers from the injury, coming as a huge blow to the side.

Ben White

Ben White is still facing a spell on the sidelines as the defender recovers from a procedure on his knee injury.

The star had been suffering from a few persistent issues, which has led to an operation to give him some long-term gain.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Another long-term absence from the squad is Takehiro Tomiyasu, with the versatile ace another who has persistent knee issues.

The Japan international is recovering away from Arsenal as he looks to make a return to action in the New Year at some point.
