Arsenal are on their way to the United States for their pre-season tour.
The Gunners are scheduled to play three games on the other side of the pond. They kick off their tour against Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth.
Then, Arsenal take on Manchester United and Liverpool in the space of a week before heading back to North London to prepare for the Emirates Cup.
Mikel Arteta has named a 26-man Arsenal squad for the USA tour, and a few hugely talented young players have been called up.
Here are five of them you should keep an eye on.
Five Arsenal gems who could shine during the USA tour
Tommy Setford
Tommy Setford has joined Arsenal’s academy from Ajax, and the 18-year-old will be on the plane to the United States.
David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale will not be a part of the tour this summer. That makes Karl Hein the temporary number one, but he will not play every minute of pre-season.
That opens the door for young Setford to get some minutes.
The teenager could announce himself to Arsenal fans with good performances against the likes of Bournemouth, Manchester United and Liverpool.

Ayden Heaven
Ayden Heaven was expected to be a part of Arsenal’s USA tour, and Arteta has rightly called him up.
The 17-year-old, who is naturally a midfielder but played a lot as a centre-back in 2023/24, is one of the most talented players in the club’s academy. He has produced a number of impressive performances for the youth sides and has often been spotted in first-team training sessions as well.
With William Saliba out of the USA tour, Takehiro Tomiyasu injured and Gabriel Magalhaes expected to join the squad late, Heaven will likely get an opportunity to shine.
Keep an eye on this kid because he has all the qualities to become a star.
Michal Rosiak
Michal Rosiak is a player we have been excited about for some time now.
The 18-year-old, who is naturally a defensive midfielder but has also featured at right-back for the youth sides, is immensely talented, and he has deservedly received a call-up to the USA tour.
Rosiak, hailed as Arsenal Academy’s free-kick king thanks to his brilliant ability on the dead ball, scored nine goals and provided seven assists in the 2023/24 season.
He has a bright future ahead of him, and he could get a chance to show his quality in the upcoming pre-season games.

Myles Lewis-Skelly
Myles Lewis-Skelly is a household name for Arsenal fans at this point.
The 17-year-old is one of the Gunners’ brightest young talents, and he has been shining for the youth sides. The teenager has trained with the first team regularly too for over a year now.
Arteta used him at left-back in the behind-closed-doors friendly against Leyton Orient, and Arsenal fans have since been convinced that Lewis-Skelly could replace Oleksandr Zinchenko.
That opinion may just be a bit farfetched, but one thing that’s almost certain is that Lewis-Skelly has a massive future ahead of him.
He is expected to get considerable game time in the upcoming friendlies.
Ethan Nwaneri
Finally, the name you’ve all been waiting for.
Ethan Nwaneri is arguably Arsenal’s most exciting talent. The 17-year-old has already played in the Premier League under Arteta, becoming the youngest player to do so in the history of the competition.
Everyone in and around the Emirates has high hopes for him, and it has even been claimed that Nwaneri will get more opportunities at Arsenal in the 2024/25 season.
Good performances stateside against Bournemouth, Manchester United and Liverpool will definitely increase his chances of becoming a regular in the first-team squad next campaign.
We are really excited to see what Nwaneri will be able to do in the coming weeks.
