Mikel Arteta’s side were at their all-firing best against Ipswich in a 4-0 victory.
Leandro Trossard scored a brace as a makeshift striker, meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli made Gunners history with his 50th goal for the club.
Having scored four goals, it is unsurprising to see Arsenal’s forwards get the headlines, but members of the Gunners defence should also earn praise for shutting out the Tractor Boys.
With that being said, there is one Arsenal defender in particular who caught the eye with his performance, namely Jakub Kiwior.

Jakub Kiwior shows Arsenal importance against Ipswich
Many Arsenal fans will admit that they were worried when Gabriel Magalhaes was ruled out until next season, but that was before they realised Kiwior’s capabilities.
The Polish international has stepped up for the Gunners in Gabriel’s absence, with Kiwior even being labelled as ‘exceptional’ following his display against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The 25-year-old, however, hasn’t let the Madrid performance go to his head, providing yet another impressive display against Ipswich.

Kiwior’s importance to the Gunners has even been showcased by Arsenal’s record with him in the side, currently on a run of 21 matches unbeaten when the defender starts.
Kiwior’s Arsenal future remains unclear
Despite his solid performances, there still is a chance Kiwior could leave Arsenal this summer, with a possible Serie A return on the cards for the 25-year-old.
Juventus’ January move was blocked by Arteta, but the Italian giants could again return ahead of next season.

With a potential exit on the cards, Mikel Arteta will soon face a tough decision on whether to keep Kiwior at the Emirates.
The Polish international’s recent displays suggest he has more than earned his chance, whether he will want to stay and play second fiddle to Gabriel is another question entirely, though.
