Arsenal beat Girona 2-1 in the Champions League despite resting several key players.
The Gunners have played a lot of football over the last two months, and a number of their stars have looked exhausted in recent weeks.
The likes of Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, Myles Lewis-Skelly, William Saliba and Jurrien Timber all started on the bench for Arsenal against Girona.
One player, however, was missing from the squad because of an injury, and that is a big worry.
Arsenal could be in big trouble if David Raya’s injury rules him out of Man City clash
David Raya missed Arsenal’s clash against Girona on Wednesday night.
The Spaniard is one of the Gunners’ most important players. He is the one who starts everything from the back and his unavailability is a big blow.
Neto started the game against Girona and he was partly at fault for Arnaut Danjuma’s opener in the first half of the game.
After the win, Arteta confirmed that Raya ‘certainly could not play’ and refused to give any details on the nature of his injury.
That has raised concerns over whether the Spain international will be fit for the game against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
Arsenal have to win that fixture against the champions to stay in the title race, and they already have a number of players missing.
Losing Raya would be a massive blow, especially as Neto’s debut on Wednesday night was far from convincing.

What Arsenal fans are saying about Raya potentially missing Man City clash
Neto became Arsenal’s oldest debutant in 110 years against Girona, and nobody can argue that the Brazilian didn’t deserve his opportunity after sitting on the bench for five months.
However, the 35-year-old’s performance has raised serious concerns among the fan base, so much so that many are dreading the prospect of seeing Raya miss the game on Sunday.
One Arsenal fan said: “I really hope Raya is fine because Neto cannot play against City.”
Another wrote: “Worst City side in years btw and I guarantee we get torn apart on Sunday. If Raya isn’t fit, just concede the game.”
“If Raya misses the City game I’m checking out for the season,” tweeted another.
