Arsenal have their eyes on the Champions League prize as they head to Paris in a crucial second leg.
Mikel Arteta’s side know they have to win at the Parc des Princes to stand any chance of progressing into only their second ever Champions League final.
Domestically, there was a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth leading into the clash that leaves the Gunners fighting for a top five finish in the Premier League.
Arsenal know that reinforcements are needed this summer with Arteta sending Andrea Berta a clear message after the Bournemouth defeat. Oleksandr Zinchenko could be key in landing one of Berta’s top targets.

Arsenal should use Oleksandr Zinchenko to land Jamie Gittens
As per reports from Ruhr Nachrichten, Dortmund’s local news outlet, Arsenal have moved ahead of Chelsea in the race to land Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens.
Gittens has impressed in his 46 appearances so far this season for the German outfit, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists.
The Gunners face stiff competition to land the young star but could have a trump card in Zinchenko being used as part of the deal with Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund wanted Zinchenko in the January transfer window but a move never materialised, perhaps down to Arsenal’s injury crisis this season.
Arsenal can now look to use Dortmund’s interest in Zinchenko as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Gittens and land one of Europe’s hottest prospects.
Pep Guardiola wants Jamie Gittens at Manchester City
As per Team Talk, Spanish outlet Defensa Central reported that Pep Guardiola has willed Manchester City to ‘pay whatever’ for Gittens amid interest from Real Madrid too.
It is expected that Gittens will cost around £70m in the summer and Guardiola has identified his pace and power as attributes that can revive City’s ageing squad.

| Gittens | 104 | 17 | 14 |
Gittens began his career in the academy at Manchester City before moving to Germany to develop with Dortmund.
Now he is attracting interest from a host of top European clubs, if Arteta and Berta want him, they have to make themselves stand out from a high-profile crowd.
