Arsenal’s summer transfer business is starting to shape up as the club prepares for a busy few months ahead.
It will be the first transfer window for Andrea Berta as the sporting director, who will be looking at the possibility of strengthening the Gunners to get the trophies they so desperately crave.
While Mikel Arteta has gone close so far, the finer details are the ones proving costly for Arsenal, but they are the sort of transfers that can cost a large sum of money.
A striker is at the top of the priority list, while a winger is another position that the Gunners will be turning to in the market.
Another midfielder is set for an arrival, with Arsenal expected to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, while a backup goalkeeper is on the cards too.
Beyond that, any other deals could be determined on potential outgoings, not least in the defensive ranks.
With Arsenal’s transfer interest in Cristhian Mosquera of Valencia, rated at £17million, it could well hint at the end for one star.

Cristhian Mosquera to Arsenal could hint at Jakub Kiwior transfer exit
Arsenal’s interest in Cristhian Mosquera comes ahead of a summer transfer window where Berta may need to move quickly.
While the defensive ranks are well-stocked, there are areas in which it could quickly become thin if exits follow.
There are a few players rumoured to be moving away, but Arsenal Insider understands that Jakub Kiwior wants to leave Arsenal for more playing time.
While the Polish international has stepped up to receive more minutes in recent weeks, he is likely to revert to a squad option when Gabriel Magalhaes returns from injury next season.
That in itself may be enough of an incentive to push Kiwior towards an exit, as has been the case in the past two transfer windows without any move so far.

Interest in Mosquera could hint that Arsenal are already looking at possible replacements, with opportunities in the transfer market.
While the youngster at Valencia isn’t left-footed and largely plays on the right, he is more than capable on either side, while Riccardo Calafiori could deputise as the left-footed option at centre-back if needed.
It all hints at a possible transfer exit for Kiwior, who has some big games ahead of him before the summer window.
It may be a shame for Arsenal to lose him, though, especially given the praise he was showered with by David Raya.

David Raya praised Jakub Kiwior’s ability at Arsenal
Jakub Kiwior has come in for plenty of praise in the past few weeks, given the level of performance he has managed.
The Arsenal defender has come in from the cold to play a huge role in some important matches for the context of the season.
While performances may have come as a surprise to some fans, David Raya was less shocked, as he outlined the quality of the star.
The Spanish goalkeeper recently told the press: “I know how good Jakub is and I’m very, very convinced and confident with him stepping in after the big injury that Gabi sustained against Fulham.
“I wasn’t surprised by his performance. I thought he was very, very, very good, and we know how good he is; he shows it in training every day.
“I was very, very happy with his performance because that gives him confidence, but I wasn’t surprised; it was only a matter of time before he showed his quality.”
It shows just how highly thought of Kiwior is, but it also outlines the challenge the side will have in finding a replacement for him.
