Arsenal’s next three signings could be so easy to predict now after they sealed Christos Tzolis deal

Arsenal are showing no signs of stopping after agreeing a deal to sign Christos Tzolis.

Andrea Berta was quiet in June because of the World Cup, but now that the competition is coming to an end, he is making moves.

Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Christos Tzolis, but they are still in the market for at least three new players – another winger, a midfielder and a defender.

We don’t think it’s too difficult to guess who those three signings are going to be.

Imagine you are Andrea Berta. Who is your top target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window?

Predicting Arsenal’s next three signings after Christos Tzolis

It is clear that Arsenal want to reinforce their attack, midfield and defence before the transfer window shuts, and they have been linked with several names in each of those positions.

However, Mikel Arteta’s main target for those roles seems pretty clear, and we expect Berta to wrap up those three deals in the coming weeks:

Ezri Konsa

At the end of last season, you would’ve argued that Arsenal didn’t need any more centre-backs, but things have taken a turn.

William Saliba has been playing with a broken back and may need surgery. There is a chance he could be out for the first few months of the season.

As a result, Arsenal are preparing a bid to sign Konsa, and we think a move is likely to happen because of Aston Villa’s financial troubles.

Bruno Guimaraes

Arsenal’s priority target in the middle of their park is Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes.

The Gunners were linked with other midfielders too, like Sandro Tonali and Ayyoub Bouaddi, but the Brazilian is clearly the player Arteta wants, and a couple of bids have gone in through intermediaries already.

Newcastle are not keen to sell their skipper and will make it difficult. But Guimaraes has informed them of his desire to join Arsenal (David Ornstein), and we expect this deal to happen as a result in the coming weeks.

Morgan Rogers

Arsenal’s top target this summer is Morgan Rogers, and personal terms are almost agreed between the two parties.

Reports have claimed that the Gunners have started talks with Aston Villa over a move, and the negotiations could drag on because of the difference in valuation.

However, like with Guimaraes, Rogers wants to join Arsenal, and as we’ve seen over the years, player power usually comes out on top.
