Arsenal fans are hoping that the club will make one more attacking addition before the end of the transfer window.

Andrea Berta is focusing on player sales in the final few days of the window as Arsenal have lowered their asking price for Fabio Vieira.

It has been another frustrating summer in terms of getting players off the books for the Gunners and it could affect their chances of completing the final addition that they crave.

Arsenal fans have reacted to Leandro Trossard’s new contract and their disappointment centres around what they believe is a knock on effect for one of their top transfer targets.

Leandro Trossard’s new Arsenal contract ends Rodrygo pursuit

Trossard’s new contract signifies that the Gunners are sticking with what they have in terms of their attacking options for this season.

A lack of player sales has meant that the club are reluctant to bring in another player as Eberechi Eze edges closer to a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Arsenal have also held interest in Rodrygo this summer and the new deal for the Belgian winger now surely ends any pursuit for the Brazilian.

Mikel Merino thinks Rodrygo is a ‘complete’ player, however, the Gunners are set to stick with Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli as their option on the left wing.

Both players have come in for criticism from fans for their inconsistent performances and many believe that Arsenal need to upgrade in the position in order to end their major trophy drought.

Arsenal will regret decision to not sign another attacking option this transfer window

Arsenal have added depth to their squad this summer, there can be no doubting that. Their substitutes bench against Manchester United looked stronger than it ever has before.

However, many would argue that the starting XI has not been strengthened and after not being good enough to win a trophy last season, what do they expect to change this campaign?

Arsenal are crying out for a player that can inject some magic and creativity in the final third, Arteta’s side are becoming predictable and over-reliant on the right hand side.

They cannot expect to win anything this season with a left hand side that simply doesn’t function going forward and this latest decision will prove costly.
