Arsenal’s 2025 trip to Dubai has come at an ideal time as Mikel Arteta and his players take a much-needed break from match action.
The Gunners have played an astounding 11 games in 36 days, underlining the fatigue that is felt across the squad.
With Arsenal jetting off to Dubai, it comes as an opportunity to recharge for a few days with some winter sun and team bonding exercises.
While rest is on the agenda, Mikel Arteta will be taking charge of some training sessions to keep the team ticking over.
Some Arsenal stars will need to take the opportunity to impress the manager during that trip away.

Max Dowman
Arsenal academy star Max Dowman has been involved in senior training sessions plenty over the past few months.
Aged just 15 years old, the youngster is ineligible to feature this season, but Mikel Arteta clearly believes in his talent.

Dowman seemingly has a big future ahead of him, and the trip to Dubai is just the latest step in his journey to senior minutes.
With another chance to impress in an environment many years above his rank, the attacking midfielder may be able to show how adaptable he is to those new environments.
Jack Porter
Another impressive youngster from the academy, Jack Porter has also been given an opportunity to impress in Dubai.
The 16-year-old has already made his senior debut against Bolton Wanderers in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

It’s an extremely young age for a goalkeeper to come through and feature, with it being one of the few positions that generally takes longer to be trusted with.
However, Porter can show yet more signs that he’s a future Arsenal number one.
Raheem Sterling
One player in need of an opportunity to break back into the squad this season is Raheem Sterling.

The winger has shown some bright sparks through the campaign at times, but is yet to nail down a starting shirt of his own.
With an injury concern for Gabriel Martinelli, Sterling could be given an even greater chance of featuring on a more regular basis.
An impressive display in Dubai during training sessions may help the England international’s cause to be involved more often.
Riccardo Calafiori
It’s been something of a stop-start season for Riccardo Calafiori, ever since he signed from Bologna last summer.
Injuries have been a real problem for the Italian international, making it tough for him to make regular appearances, but he has impressed when handed the chance.
While he appears to be back to full fitness, he now has a different challenge as Myles Lewis-Skelly stands in his way.
Calafiori will have to show he is worthy of a place back in the team, given the competition in front of him.
Jakub Kiwior
After a shaky display from William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes against Newcastle, Jakub Kiwior could give himself a shot at getting in the Arsenal side.
The versatile defender may be able to land himself a chance at centre-back, while the left-back role may also be up for grabs.
